AN INVESTIGATION is being carried out into the death of Selwyn Knight who was shot and killed by a policeman around 6:50 a.m. today at Dash Gap, Bank Hall, St Michael.
Knight, 57, of Queen Mary Road, Bank Hall, was reportedly chasing a burglar when the incident occurred.
Two other men were taken into custody. One of the men was injured and is currently receiving medical treatment. 
One of the victims was armed with a knife which was recovered along with other property. A senior Police Officer has been assigned to investigate the shooting.
