SUNNY INDEED.
Yesterday’s rebranded SUNDAY SUN hit the streets selling out in some areas from early.
The 36-year-old publication, the flagship of the Nation Publishing Company papers, boasted a host of new features including one that took it into the digital age.
The SUNDAY SUN broke ground with the introduction of the digital QR code on its Front Page and inside that allowed readers to use their smartphones and tablets to scan the code and access further information online.

Readers in the north were the first to give on-the-spot feedback as the first major promo of the newspaper took place at the Rubis Gas Station in Holetown, St James. After purchasing their SUNDAY SUNs, readers were given a chance to spin for prizes that included free gas, subscriptions, vouchers and other NATION trinkets.
Their views about the paper were also solicited by NATION employees as some of the columnists and writers were on hand for the three-hour Chat And Win promotion. (AC)
