Top two play to goalless draw

WEYMOUTH WALES survived a penalty, while Rendezvous held on with ten men as the two top teams in the Digicel Premier League played to an exciting 0-0 draw on Sunday at the National Stadium.

Pride of Gall Hill earned their first point for the season as they also drew 0-0 with neighbours Direct TV Paradise.

The only goals of the evening came in the opening match, with Mackeson Brittons Hill sending Silver Sands crashing to their fifth straight defeat with a 2-0 beating.

Dwayne Stanford delivered a brace in the 14th and 68th minute as Brittons Hill scored their first goals in open play and moved into fifth position.

Jabarry “Papi” Chandler faced his old club Gall Hill for the first time as a Paradise player, and it is a game he would quickly like to forget.
