NIGHT GAMES will make a return to the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) with 30 of the 33 games in this year’s tournament scheduled to be played under lights.

Organisers yesterday announced the schedule for the tournament, which will get underway at Kensington Oval on June 20 with a repeat of last year’s final between eventual champions Barbados Tridents and Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Six teams – Tridents, Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St Lucia Zouks, Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel and new boys St Kitts & Nevis Patriots – are all set to play ten matches apiece in a quest for places in the semi-finals, carded for July 23 and 25 at Queen’s Park Oval. (CMC/EZS)
