New road rules

THE MINISTRY of Transport and Works and the police are teaming up for an assault on people who provide fictitious motor vehicle licence plates and cyclists who perform stunts on public roads.
 
And to get the process rolling, said Minister of Transport and Works Michael Lashley, all individuals
or representatives of companies that manufacture these plates have been summoned to a meeting
at which new rules will be outlined.
 
This was confirmed by Permanent Secretary in that ministry Bruce Alleyne, who said the meeting has been set for next Friday at 10 a.m. and that all the players were informed by letter dated March 30.
