Hyundai team’s eye on Caribbean motor sport

LEADING KOREAN VEHICLE MANUFACTURER Hyundai is looking to make its presence felt in Caribbean motor sport.

And hard on the heels of the Hyundai Motorsport team’s World Rally Championship (WRC) podium finish for the fourth time in its short history,  the company’s marketing general manager Yum Lim told a press conference at the opening of the Seoul Motor Show on Thursday that they are already looking at other areas of the sport and Rally Barbados is among them.

“This is a part of our global thrust and we are developing and strengthening our positions in the areas of the motor sport and as this progresses we will be looking for new challenges wherever they may present themselves,” he said.
