Man on drug charges

A JAMAICAN MAN is expected to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today accused of attempting to bring drugs into Barbados.

According to police, Crosswell Chester Henry arrived by air on April 15 at 7:30 a.m. and was interviewed by police after he cleared Immigration.

 He was referred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he allegedly passed out 120 packets of cannabis which he had ingested.

Henry was charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of 2.5 pounds of cannabis. (PR/NB)
