Rousing welcome for Gems

WITH THE “JEWELS” OF ROYALTY and the adoring support of welcome, the Barbados Gems, the 2015 Caribbean Netball Association’s Jean Pierre Under-16 netball queens returned home to a rousing reception early yesterday morning.

Among the welcoming party were chairman of the National Sports Council Michael Power, the Assistant Director of Sports Mona Alleyne, Dave Farmer of the Barbados Olympic Association along with former nationals and current coaches Anna Shepherd, Margaret Cutting and Sonia Banfield.
