IT WAS TRULY an expression of gratitude to Terry “Mexican” Arthur for all the selfless things he is doing for music, the less fortunate and Barbados.

It is a pity that more people did not attend the concert held on Saturday night at the Hugh Springer Auditorium, Solidarity House, St Michael to give their support to the man whose main goal in life is to help others, spread love and help people of all ages through his Love Day Project.

Conceptualised and organised by Sherry Crichlow of Lasting Impressions and Production Services and her team for just $35, the audience was treated to performances from some of Barbados’ best entertainers which more than made up for the late start.

The line-up included: Mighty Grynner who rolled back the years with Leh Go I Hand, Mr T and Wait For Me; Blood, who sang The Plumber, Roll It and one of Arthur’s favourites What A Wonderful World; Lead Pipe & Saddis/Porgie & Murda with their 2014 hits Benup and Ah Feeling; and Mighty Gabby with Culture and Send An Answer For We.
