POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and formally charged Jamar Ramon Omar Best with criminal damage to a vehicle owned by the Barbados Water Authority (BWA)

Best, 26, of Ocean View Road, Bush Hall, St Michael is alleged to have committed the offence on April 8 while the vehicle was parked at 5th Ave, Park Road, Bush Hall.

He told the court he was angry at being disconnected without being informed by the BWA’s representative.

Personnel from the BWA were reportedly accosted and the tires damaged. Further investigations led to Best being detained and subsequently charged.

He was remanded until Monday when he is scheduled to reappear in District A Magistrates Court. (PR/SAT)
