Right on, Tennyson!

DR TENNYSON JOSEPH, congratulations on your column in last Tuesday’s DAILY NATION. After a lean period you are recovering top form with seven neo-liberal references. To me this is akin to a wellplayed 70 in a Test match. If you can increase to ten references it will be equivalent to a century at Lord’s!

Mind you, I am in full agreement with your criticisms of this Government following a neo-liberalist policy regime. I find it scandalous that they are trying to reduce the fiscal deficit with a view to balancing the books.

I think the country would be much better served if they continued to raid the National Insurance funds to provide free tertiary education to “students” who spend a decade or more at Cave Hill helping to provide tenure to pseudo-intellectuals and sundry others.
