Wanderers bringing in de Villiers Jr

INSPIRE SPORTS WANDERERS are bringing in some heavy artillery to fire in this year’s Barbados Cricket Association’s season which bowls off on May 16.

South African fast bowler Fannie de Villiers Jr, whose father was a handful when he played for his national side, is already in Barbados and practising with the club, while they are awaiting final confirmation on the availability of Leeward Islands all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall.

The 21-year-old de Villiers arrived last week from Johannesburg and is expected to be available for the entire season after similar stints in England and India.
