PLANS OF A good time at the annual Barbados Labour Party a Heroes Day picnic have gone awry for some party faithfuls.

A livid Dwight Sutherland is currently at the Transport Board’s Weymouth, St Michael headquarters demanding answers to why the seven buses he paid for did not arrive at 9 a.m. to transport people to East Coast Road as previously arranged.

Most of the stranded were from St George South, and parliament representative Sutherland was in an animated exchange with Transport Board’s manager marketing and communications, Lynda Holder, who also has responsibility for charters. (YB)
