Rugby plus for Bajans

BARBADOS HAS TREMENDOUS PROSPECTS in Rugby Sevens.

That’s the assessment of Joe Whipple, head coach of the Barbados Sevens team.

He was speaking on Saturday at the Garrison where an international sevens tournament was played.

Whipple said: “It’s an Olympic sport so the opportunities are greater because all of the major games have rugby.
