THE MOTHER OF a pre-teen suspected suicide victim remained tight-lipped yesterday as speculation swirled as to why her son, Shamar Weekes, would take his own life.
The woman, of St Lucy, refused to give her name, her age, her son’s name and would only confirm that the boy was 12 years old and a student at Coleridge & Parry School.
She also refused to share a photo of the boy, saying she had none of them in her home.
“I am not speaking to anyone,” she said through the louvres of her home, while cradling a phone to her ear.
