BARBADIAN BUSINESSPEOPLE are being urged to explore “an abundance of opportunities” for trade with and investment in Guyana.

Chief executive officer of the Barbados Industrial & Development Corporation Sonja Trotman issued the call this morning during a Barbados-Guyana business forum at Pelican Village in Bridgetown.

She told the gathering, which included several Guyanese small businesspeople here for the annual BMEX trade exhibition exploitation, of the opportunities for goods and services in the South American country could go some way in improving Barbados’ economy.  (TY)
