OVER THE NEXT  five months or so, Jonathan Jones and Sonje Greenidge will be telling all who will listen about their beloved parish of St Thomas.

The parish ambassadors’ task is simple: Bring all the communities that form the heart of this 166 square mile island together to “enhance the essence of what makes St Thomas a unique parish for tourism”.

Jones, Greenidge and their attendant Tamesha Watson shared their reasons for getting involved in the parish programme with the WEEKEND NATION on Saturday evening after the launch of the Parish Independence Committee’s Parish Project – Capturing The Essence Of St Thomas – Several Communities: One Destination.

Please read the full story in today’s Weekend Nation, or in the eNATION edition.
