ONCE BARBADOS’ medical needs are met, the country should consider training doctors for export to the United States and other developed countries.
That’s according to two Barbadian physicians in the United States, Dr Milton Haynes, a prominent member of the medical establishment in New York State and the United States as a whole, and Dr Franz Murphy, 33, a vascular surgeon who has spent more than five years receiving highly specialised medical training in New York City and Ohio.
“I can’t see a problem with an approach of training doctors for export, provided Barbados’ needs for physicians are being met,” said Dr Haynes.
