IT WAS HAPPY TIME for the little ones of St Boniface Nursery School when they gathered for harvest time at their Sion Hill, St James location yesterday.

The excited tots showcased what they learnt about the various crops and foods and the machinery that helps to produce them.

Subject coordinator Sylvia Bridgeman said the class celebrates Child Month by visiting vegetable markets, and “we were able to do some planting here at the nursery”.

She said the children looked at things that grew on trees and vines and also the produce that came from animals.
