Youth put products on show

IT WAS A busy day and Alfred Lamumba Batson, president of the Barbados Youth Action Programme (BYAP), was watching over his young charges working in their booth at BMEX.

They were promoting and selling their condiments, sauces, jams and jellies and doing a good job of it too. People were tasting the pepper jelly and the tomato sauce and buying bottles of them to take home.

Batson stepped away from the area, not too far though, so he could have a chat with WEEKEND NATION about the products and the programme at the event held over Whitsuntide at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

Please read the full story in today’s Weekend Nation, or in the eNATION edition.
