Oui, Oui, C’est la Vie

Sandalwood Estate was transformed into a City of Lights on Saturday night as partygoers shrugged off their worries and feted happily under hundreds of twinkling lights.

C’est la Vie – the French for That’s Life – was the first of the ultimate ultra premium all-inclusive weekend events, the other one being the cruise. And the hundreds of patrons who attended the party at the Hothersal Turning venue seemed to have got their monies worth as they drank and ate from the abundance of food and drinks bars as they partied the night away.

Men and women adhered to the dress code of “elegantly chic” white attire.

If the dancing, drinking and mingling wasn’t enough to satisfy the patrons there was an amazing display of fireworks which delighted as was evident from the “oohs”  and “aahs”, screams  and gasps. Of course the cameras and phones came out to capture the display for posterity.

On the music side, Kerry, the drummer from Trinidad, showcased his talent as he kept the vibe fresh and energetic by dancing and partying as he played his drum set with the DJs at the event.

With the party ending promptly at 12 a.m., some of the partygoers were anxiously looking forward to having as a good time aboard the Jolly Roger as they had at the Estate as they headed to the C’est la Vie bikini cruise that was being held shortly after. (CSG)
