A TRUCK DRIVER had to be freed using the Jaws of Life this afternoon after his vehicle ran off the road and struck a utility pole at Arch Hall, St Thomas.
He is 62-year-old David Anderson Prescod of Lot 45 Six Men’s, St Peter. He received injuries to his right leg and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
Police responded to the accident along with a rescue tender and water tender from the Barbados Fire Service. (RL)
