No excuses for 7th place

NIGEL LLOYD has owned up to the result.

Barbados’ men’s coach is making no excuses for the team’s poor position, having described his squad’s seventh-place finish at the  Caribbean Basketball Confederation Championships as simply unacceptable.

“We underachieved in a big way because based on the team we had, we expected more of ourselves and I expected more of the team as well so we all let ourselves down,” said Lloyd of the performance.
