VENDORS LICENCED to sell goods or services in a public park, public gardens or on the beach are reminded that their licences for the period 2015 to 2016 must be renewed by Tuesday, June 30, to avoid disruptions in the operation of their businesses.         Â
Payments for the renewal of licences can be made to the accounts department of the National Conservation Commission (NCC), Codrington House,  St Michael, Mondays to Fridays, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
In addition, management of the NCC is also reminding vendors that a recent police certificate of character must be produced at the time of renewal.
Licenced watersports operators are also reminded that it is a requirement that valid copies of the registration and insurance certificates for their vessels be produced in order to renew their licences.
The NCC Act stipulates that any person who desires to operate a business of selling goods or services in a public park, public garden or on the beach, must first get a licence from the NCC to do so.
Such licences are valid for one year and are renewable annually during the month of June, providing that the vendor has not contravened any of the conditions of issue of their licence. (BGIS)
