Water outages, low pressure in St Lucy, St Peter

THE BARBADOS Water Authority wishes to inform the residents in St Lucy and parts of St Peter who are currently experiencing low water pressure and outages that it is due to low reservoir levels at its Half Acre, Lamberts and Boscobel systems.

Affected customers include the entire parish of St Lucy, as well as residents in Boscobel, The Risk, Collins and the surrounding areas in St Peter.

As soon as reservoirs reach an acceptable level, pumping will resume.  In the interim, water tankers will assist the affected residents, but there may be some delays due to heavy demand.

The BWA regrets the inconvenience of these disruptions and would like to assure its valued customers of its commitment to the continuous delivery of water supply to all.  (PR)
