DWAYNE SMITH and Shoaib Malik came to the party with the bat for the Barbados Tridents but Chris Gayle didn’t for the Jamaica Tallawahs.

The upshot was that the Barbados Tridents romped to their second consecutive Twenty20 cricket victory in the Hero Caribbean Premier League at Kensington Oval, last night.

The hosts triumphed by 16 runs as South African left-arm spinner Robin Peterson starred with the ball, taking three wickets for 26 runs.
