SAGICOR UWI won their third Sagicor General Twenty20 cricket title when they defeated ESAF Pickwick by nine runs in a low-scoring final at Kensington Oval on Friday night.
UWI posted 119 for seven off their 20 overs, and Pickwick fell short of the run chase, ending on 110 for eight.
Dominican Kavem Hodge starred for UWI, scoring 29 and taking two wickets for a mere nine runs in his four overs of left-arm spin to earn the Man of the Match award.
