WITH THE GARBAGE piling up all across, some private entities are making efforts to keep some areas clean.
A number of vehicles were operating yesterday in Christ Church districts as the workers of the Sanitation Services Authority continued to stay off the job.
They have been called out by the National Union of Public Workers as part of its industrial action. Many districts have not had a garbage pickup for a week and there is no certainty as to when the workers will return to work. (ES)
