Cavs regain league lead

SO MUCH for postseason clarity.

Station Hill are back atop basketball’s Co-operators General Insurance Premier League, yet still haven’t clinched a play-off berth, even after holding on to beat previous leaders Hilton Barbados Warriors 69-60 on Sunday at the Wildey Gymnasium.

The result moved Cavaliers (10-4) a half-game ahead of Warriors (10-5), but did nothing to clear up a muddled postseason picture, since seven clubs still have a shot at qualifying for the four-team play-offs heading into the regular season’s last week.

At least it gave Cavs control of their own destiny, as Station Hill just have to win one of their final two fixtures to punch a ticket to the Final Four.
