GOOD EXECUTION.
That is what hurdler Shane Brathwaite is hoping for when he competes in the men’s 110 metre hurdles at the Pan American Games next week in Toronto, Canada.
“My aim is to just go to theGames and just execute my race, execute what I have been doing in training and just keep my race clean and not hit any hurdles. Once I execute, a good time should come then,” Brathwaite said.
The track and field athletes are Barbados’ main medal hopes at the Games and Brathwaite could very well be one to deliver one for the island. He won a bronze medal last year at the Commonwealth Games and just last month ran a personal best of 13.26 seconds to win the 110 metre hurdles at the National Championships.
