House collapses

YOUNG SHAWN TUDOR was snatched from certain harm yesterday when his home collapsed around him and his father.

The ten-year-old and his father, 41-year-old Shawn Tudor, were home at 3rd Avenue, Godding Road, Station Hill, St Michael, after 11 a.m. when the father heard a creaking sound and immediately sensed danger. He kept shouting for his son as that sound intensified.

“I was sitting right there by the door and my little boy was in the bed. I heard crick, crick all the time so and I keep calling him. By the time he got to the door I hear crick, crick. I grab he and hit all my chest on to the step but I didn’t mind. I had he,” recounted Shawn Sr.
