ACTING COMMISSIONER of Police Tyrone Griffith has confirmed that six-year-old Jahan King died as a result of chest trauma which was ruled unnatural.

He told the SUNDAY SUN that police had the autopsy report and were continuing their investigations into the boy’s death.

“It has merited a criminal investigation,” Griffith said.

The SUNDAY SUN, citing reliable sources, had reported earlier that Jahan’s death “involved blunt force trauma”.

The police chief explained that a “critical” part of the inquiry involved a report from the principal of the Lawrence T. Gay Primary School, Beverly Parris, and that police were in discussion with her attorney.
