STRONGER AND BETTER TOO.
In just one meeting with the country’s Social Partnership, Prime Minister Freundel Stuart is already expecting bigger things from the tripartite mechanism over the next few months.
Stuart chaired a marathon meeting with the entity on Friday.
The meeting at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre was also attended by head of the Barbados Private Sector Association, Alex McDonald, and Cedric Murrell, chairman of the Council of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados (CTUSAB), and the full Cabinet.
“At the end of the meeting, the head of the private sector thought we had done some building today. So too did the leader of the trade unions and staff associations, and of course I gave a ringing endorsement to their assessment,” the Prime Minister said. (BA)
