THE INTER-SUGAR PARTNERSHIP is calling on former Andrews Sugar Factory workers to help them dismantle the plant as they do not now have enough hands to meet the deadline.
During a media tour yesterday, partnership chairman Anthony Da Silva said they needed the expertise of the former workers.
“We have a bit of a shortage at the moment in finding competent people who have experience in this factory. We know there were a number of people who used to work here and we are looking for people at the moment who previously worked for BAMC [Barbados Agricultural Management Company Ltd] in this factory that know the components,” he said.
