The Cavs and Pan American International Insurance Warrens are headed to a deciding Game 3, as Morris slammed his way to 22 points, before coming up with a big game-saving block to preserve Saturday’s 85-82 victory in the Co-operators General Insurance Premier League basketball playoffs.
It was one of those truly memorable performances at the Barbados Community College, with the star national forward coming of age in a spectacular high-wire act worthy of the Cavs’ series-levelling effort.
From rim-rattling jams to deft turnaround jumpers and even knifing drives, Morris looked anything but a postseason rookie playing in just his second playoff game, having put his entire offensive arsenal on show.
