‘Ifie’ still active at 100

FIERCELY INDEPENDENT at 100.

That, said her adopted children, best describes the island’s newest centenarian Ina Eleanor Ifill, who celebrated her milestone yesterday.

At the Archer’s Road, Queen Street, Speightstown, St Peter home which she shares with her sister Audrey, she was feted by her family, as well as those she had adopted over the years.

Acting Governor General Sir Philip Greaves visited and toasted the woman of the moment.
