Animekon bigger and better

THE INTEREST of self-proclaimed geeks continues to expandas evidenced by the numbers at this year’s Animekon Expo.

For thesixth time,fans of pop culture,gaming, movies comics,and cosplay descended upon the rooms of the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre to witness or participate in all the activities the expo had to offer.

There were gaming centres, where participantsfaced off against eachother, cosplayers (people who dress in costumesfrom comics or movies)in abundance and forthe first time, a haunted house.

Representations of Batman , The Jokera nd Dragon Ball Z characters and Luigicould be viewed in their element over the two-day expo last weekend.
