Two groups teaming up to help troubled girls

YOUNG WOMEN in Barbados have been given a medium through which they can find solutions to their emotional problems.

It comes from a workshop, held at Lester Vaughan Secondary School recently, in which CARIB2UK and I AM A GIRL Barbados teamed up to use drama as a way of dealing with mental health issues.

CARIB2UK works with young people between the ages of five and 18 in the UK and CARICOM and offers individual and group drama therapy, which is a psychological approach to tackling mental health issues such as anxiety and depression for those who have been through traumatic experiences.
