Kudos to St Philip committee

ON SATURDAY, August 15, 2015, I attended the Night Of The Griots, an event held by the St Philip Parish Independence Committee (PIC). I was accompanied by two friends who were visiting from the United States.

On arrival, we were directed to the parking area assigned to patrons. We however requested a parking space closer to where the event was taking place, since the driver has a disability and walks with a cane.

Immediately, Ms Andrea Carter, one of the organisers of the event, willingly acceded to our request. She requested whether we had already purchased tickets and when told that we had not yet done so, she offered to buy them for us. Ms Carter also offered to accompany my friend to the seating area.

In addition, I wish to commend the very pleasant parish ambassadors who, at the end of the show, thanked us for coming and sought to find out whether we had enjoyed the show.

From all perspectives, it was indeed an enjoyable evening. Kudos to Ms Carter and by extension, the St Philip PIC.
