WITH exuberance etched on their faces, junior chefs Tonia Brereton and D’sean Miller of The Lodge School were victorious in their quest to win the annual Caribbean Junior Duelling Challenge 2015.
They turned up the heat at the competition that attracted junior chefs from eight islands last weekend at the Dining Club in Newton Industrial Park, Christ Church.
Brereton and Miller, under the direction of coach Reginald Sealy, managed to score a clear eight points more than their nearest rival Grenada to capture the coveted trophy and the first prize of a trip to a culinary school in Puerto Rico.
