Early morning accident leaves one injured

A MAN WAS taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance after the car he was driving crashed into a utility pole along St Stephen’s Hill, St Michael after six o’clock this morning.

Thirty-three-year-old Jedson Clarke of Licorish Village, My Lord’s Hill had to be freed from his vehicle by members of the Barbados Fire Service.

He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

A rescue tender and a water tender, led by acting station officer Clarence Hinds responded to the accident along with eight officers. (RL)
