Construction workers feeling the heat

THE HEAT is getting to some workers in the construction industry.

After numerous complaints about the hot conditions in Barbados last week, workers are feeling the scorching sun under their collars.

Workers of H&S Investments Limited, who are building the lots in Fairwin Gardens, Oldbury in St Philip, made their feelings known when a SUNDAY SUN team visited the area.

John Maynard said: “It is hot. Real hot too, till it burning. It hotter this year than last year.”

Shachar Marshall said, “The weather  is bad, it is extremely hot; had me sweating   

At another location, in Marshall Crescent Hothersal Turning in St Michael, men working for the same company complained about the heat too.
