‘Lend a hand’ in crime fight

BARBADIANS are being asked to work with authorities to bring the criminal element in the island to justice.

The appeal is coming from Prime Minister Freundel Stuart as he throws Government’s support behind the September 3rd Foundation Inc that is today commemorating the fifth anniversary of the Campus Trendz tragedy when six young women lost their lives in a fire in Bridgetown.

“The loss of lives caused by this heinous crime has left their families and friends still hurting to this day,” said Stuart in a message yesterday.

He said those who resorted to violence to solve problems must be told that it did work.
