A FATHER and a rural community are enraged at the Child Care Board (CCB) over what they say is its failure to remove three children from an abusive home in spite of years of complaints.
They say the children were finally rescued two months ago by their paternal grandmother after it was discovered that the teenaged girl had hatched a plan to kill herself or run away from home with her two siblings.
The children lived with their mother, stepfather and two younger siblings of the union between the mother and the stepfather. He is now on remand at Dodds Prison after being charged by police last Thursday with raping the girl.
