This comes after the parent, who requested anonymity, met recently with CCB deputy director Denise Nurse and technical officer Delvine Waithe to discuss the placement of his stepson into the care of his grandmother and biological father.
The man said he and the child’s mother met with the two senior CCB officials in an effort to discuss the matter further but claimed that they were not afforded a “proper opportunity” to present their case.
The stepfather, a manager, who resides with the child’s mother, said he raised the 15-year-old child from a very early age and always tried his best to pay attention to his stepson’s education.
