Lashley: You can make a change

FIFTH FORMERS of the Graydon Sealy Secondary School got a glimpse yesterday into the functioning of the law courts when they received a surpriseĀ  visit from past student and Minister of TransportĀ  and Works Michael Lashley.

Lashley implored the students to strive and to be committed and dedicated to their work.

ā€œI remember when I graduated from law school,Ā  as a young lawyer I had to find a senior lawyer to attach myself to and [work] wasn’t always easy. But hard work paid off because I am here to tell you that story today.

ā€œAt your age, I wanted to hop on a ship and play bass guitar like my brother Stephen, but my mother said no, I needed to do my exams,ā€ he added.
