AN ELDERLY MAN was struck on Princess Alice Highway, in Bridgetown around 11 a.m. today.
Emmerson Bellamy, 92, of Valley View, the Pine, St Michael was struck by a taxi while crossing the street from the Bridgetown Fisheries Complex.
The driver of the vehicle, Patricia Leacock, 63, of Church Street, Speightstown, St Peter said she was just driving out of the Fisheries Complex when the collision occurred.
An ambulance arrived at 11:20 a.m. and Bellamy received medical attention at the scene.(LT)
