‘Blood on bike’

A MAN WHO WAS REPORTEDLY DEPORTED from St Lucia is being questioned in connection with last week’s murder of 60-year-old Melanise Eversley of Jordan, St George.

According to reliable sources the suspect is believed to be in his mid-thirties.

Reports also stated that forensic evidence uncovered traces of Eversley’s blood on a motorcycle, which is in police custody.

Eversley’s partially clothed body was discovered last week Thursday on Jordans Road near the Walkers Road junction in St George.

Firemen found the body just off the main road when they responded to a bush fire in the area.(TS)
