NAPSAC moving to new stadium

The National Primary Schools’ Athletics Championships (NAPSAC) are shifting to the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

NAPSAC chairman Wayne Robinson told SUNSPORT that’s the likely option because of the condition of the National  Stadium.

A decision was taken by Minister of Sport Stephen Lashley last year after the conclusion of school sports to deny public access to the ageing stands on security grounds.

Minor injuries to a couple of students as a result of falling debris from the Jim Wedderburn Stand prompted the minister to take his stance. (AT)
