ON THE TUESDAY, September 15 edition of VOB’s Down To Brass Tacks, a listener to the programme – a professed atheist – took a potshot via email at physicist Dr Russell Humphreys re his lecture Scientific Evidence For A Young World presented September 10 at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
Apart from the attempt to insult young Earth creationists by insinuating that this is akin to believing in a flat Earth, it is apparent that he went to the said lecture with his atheistic blinders on and did not pay any attention to the 14 pieces of solid scientific evidence (out of 101) for a young world which contradict the millions and billions of years evolutionists claim for the age of the earth, but corroborates the biblical time scale for the origin of planet Earth and its inhabitants just a few thousand years ago.
As Dr Humphreys, himself a former atheist, said: “You can trust The Bible.”
The professed atheist who submitted that email would do well to follow Dr Humphreys’ example and give up his atheism in light of the overwhelming scientific evidence which supports biblical theism and creation.
